I have never read anything by Mariane de Pierres but if this book is any indication of her talent then I am in for a treat. Recipe for a rip roaring peice of sci , first add a strong likeable female lead . Then toss in an evil , shadowy gang of bad guys and toss in flavors of a sci fi old western flavor , put in the hands of very talented writer and Voila! An awesome sci fi story set in the near future.Take my advice and read this one soon.
