The Eight (The Eight, #1)

Well, this was a long book - 600 pages, small print. But it was definitely worth my time.
I loved the story set in the past! The present day story was also good, but my attention was always drawn more to Mireille and what she was going through.
There were times the author goes on long descriptions about the formula, the elements, past mathematicians or philosophers, etc. These bored me and while I tried to understand, I usually didn't so I just skimmed through and I still got the point of the story.
The secret of the Eight at the end and what it did for Mireille was a surprise!
If you enjoy historical books with a dash of the DaVinci Code style, I would recommend this book!
