I very nearly quit this one, making me reconsider my policy to always finish what I start no matter what. Around page 90 it started to get interesting. (You could start there and not miss much. Just read the premise.) Then I had to trudge through it again, and then it got kind of interesting. It was a real chore to get through, though.
The writing is a bit odd. It prevented me from being drawn into the story. I was fully aware of the typography and the words. With good books, I stop noticing these things and watch the pictures forming in my mind. Also, there is a complete lack of knowledge of how commas work.
It's kind of funny and kind of weird and very creative. If you want a lesson in patience, this one's for you.
