Delirium (Delirium, #1)

This would have easily become a classic if Oliver didnt get carried her way with her over description. Oliver just kills it with all her similes and over description. Everything is described too much, too much inner monologue, too much whining and the list goes on.
Its sad because Lena isnt a bad protag, but all the whining and usage of "like" is giving me headache. No joke Oliver uses like 732 times! Very uncalled for!
Still, one of the best of 2011 and I love Lena. It should be noted Oliver is probably one of the best young adult writers out there today. A must read despite the minor irritations and faulty world building.
