Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles, #3.5)

I really had fun reading this book. It is a horrible story and Levana is a terrible person, but it was a fun and quick read.
This book gives new depth to the character of Levana, and although she is a terrible person and she has no excuse for the things she has done, a lot of external factors have contributed to her being terrible, horrible, batshit crazy.
The ego of mankind is the devil, that's for sure. And missing out on love as a child is devastating.
BUT you have to first accept and love yourself, scars and flaws and all, before you can expect somebody to love you. And you can't force somebody to love you! Simply not done! Deal with it!
This quote sums up the entire book: "What a stupid child she'd been" That's all you need to know.
