As a whacky kid I used to fantasise about being a witch. Having the ability to communicate with animals, continuously playing with candles and when I was old enough, I brought my first set of tarot cards. I was pretty obsessed with the concept, so I LOVE reading about them.

Mira was a great heroine, she had back bone but was still vulnerable in the ways of love due to a cheating ex-husband. I loved the scorching seduction and it flowed perfectly into a sexy hot lovin.

Then there’s Jack my (yes I deliberately said MY, because I have now claimed him) sexy, protective, huge hearted fire witch. You can fire up my bed anytime sunshine. Make me burn baby, make me burn. He was the perfect balance of protectiveness but also had skeletons in his closet that made my heart clench for him.

I LOVED this book. It was my first Anya Bast read and I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ll have a problem loving all of her books. She writes beautifully and she also has a great handle on a sexy love scene which there were many. It was fantastic!! And I am very excited to add another favourite author to my list.
