Upfront: I'm not very objective about this book because Jenny is someone I consider a friend (although we've only met once I think!) and I'm a huge fan of her blog, AND she blurbed my book. But I wouldn't have asked her to blurb if I didn't love her stuff, ergo it doesn't feel weird to say I loved this book. So take that how you will.
This review is based on an ARC too, BTW. Basically her original book is one of my faves (I read it before I'd met her or even read much of her blog, for the record) and these new tales are just as witty and weird and fantastic as in her book debut! You'll never feel ashamed of any aspect of yourself after you read this book. Jenny makes it ok to be you, whatever it is you feel that makes you weird or broken. I love her for that.
Also, I'd never be able to sleep in her house because of all the taxidermy.

I feel there are just not enough bit-chompers regarding this title, yet, and I aim to up that number.

I had been hoping to but for some reason the UK Audible site only stocks a German language audio version even though the US site has an English one...sigh.

What? That's...evil!
I guess, then, your only recourse is to vacation in America so you can listen to the book.
That's totally feasible and normal, right?
And the German version is probably not read by Jenny ... which is probably good because I cannot even imagine what she'd sound like yelling, "VAGINA!" in German.
Ok, on second thought, she should probably start narrating her books in all the languages.

I gue..."
No, it's not read by Jenny; it's some lady called Svantje Wascher that get's to yell "VAGINA!" in German apparently. In fact I think it might actually just be some extracts from the blog and not even the book. My German isn't great.
You wouldn't recommend just reading it or should I hold out?

So read Let's Pretend This Never Happened: A Mostly True Memoir first. After that, hope that somehow, some angel of mercy releases Jenny's reading of the same book in your country and then listen to it. By that time, this book should be out (it comes out on Sept. 22 here) and soon after, the audio version of this will come out and you can listen to it in German! Or again hope for angelic interference.
That is my recommendation.

her books they are great. Thou, I did get scared at night going to the bathroom thinking I'd see that freaky raccoon lol
