I loved the reading experience on this reread - a really intriguing novel, with some fantastic characters and twists and turns. I'm still deciding how I feel about Wilkie Collins but I do love his writing an awful lot.

One of my favourite childhood books, so so good and eerie. I loved the narration especially the butler’s.

I loved both books by Wilkie Collins, The Woman in White and The Moonstone, but I think The Moonstone a little more. Among other elements, I absolutely loved the interaction of the narrator with the reader. I'd love to read it again and I'd love to read more of Collins' works.
Wilkie's wiki page is fascinating. I'll have to check out these books.
