The Handmaid's Tale
by
by

Brilliantly executed narrative with the melodies of a short story.
That the character never cleared herself, that the author made realise the world just through her remembrance, made it so fulfilling.
One of the must reads.
As for the flaws, the pace varies too much throughout the novel..And of course the mixing of so many cultures into one. . made the gileadian culture tough to understand at times.
