really liked it

BRB CRYING FOREVER. This book was a wild ride! While I loved this book, I did feel like the characterization within this book was a bit off. That's the main reason I didn't give this 5 stars. Other than that I was thoroughly happy with what went down in this story, even if certain things didn't go the way I wanted them to. GIVE ME BOOK 5 NOW. K THANKS.

Lisa Kong I hope this means Dorian and celaena get back together. so excited to read this

Diana I finished two days ago and I'm still crying

Helene Rosmo Felt the same way after reading this!

Elizabeth Dorian and Celeana? Really? I didn't like them... ever.... Does a lot of stuff change in this book to suddenly make you like Dorian and Celeana? I haven't read it yet but something DRASTIC would have to happen for those two to work out.

Mina so glad you finally finished this! hopefully we will see a review soon ~

Afaf Ahmad I think that the characterization was a bit off in thisbook because we have had enough characterization about all the main characters in the first three books that they are no longer flat characters, but very round; which is why this book focused more on the events rather than characterization. By now we already know all the major and lots of minor character traits about all the main characters and lots of other side characters.

Dani yes the charaCTERIZATION WAS WAAAYYYYY OFF *Cough cough* Chaol and Aelin

Its_Brian12 Same here, very much agree with you on that. The characterisation was pretty strange more me.... Aelin and Chaol... Which meant this wasn't my favourite in the series. But I would be lying if I said I didn't LOVE it :D

Andreea (booksstopia) I.m sad for Chaol. He is a different person now. I loved him in the first 2 books. But now? He is not my Chaol =(

Mattie Don't hate me, I am team Aelin and Rowan.

Blaiklee I felt the same way.

audrey (benny the jet's version) Agreed. I think as the books go on though we see more of why the characterization went the way it did. Character arcs always start out a bit funky at the beginning.
