Such an interesting beggining, but the story didn't hold my interest. I skipped pages like crazy just to find out how and why the people od the town disappeared back in 1893, but at 80% on Kindle, this title just isn't for me.
The plot is very good, though, I just didn't connect with the story. Written in parts 1893 and parts the present, 2009, I was digging the format and the change in time. For some reason, the book and I just didn't connect.
Why did the people disappear? Can somebody tell me? I'm thinking it had something to do with crazy Bill, but my eyes hurt to find out.
