Curtain (Hercule Poirot, #44)

I had put off reading this final case for Poirot, published in 1975, but written in the 1940s. Why I didn't want to read it is because of what happens to Poirot in this story.
Poirot's friend Hastings is the main character and main detective. Poirot invites him back to Styles, where Poirot and Hastings began their detective adventures so many years earlier. Poirot is in ill health and Hastings is tasked with being his eyes and ears in apprehending X, responsible for at least 5 murders, according to Poirot.
Typical Christie country house mystery, with a twist at the end.
