A Midsummer Night's Dream

This was alright. Nothing mind-blowing, funny however and def a good introduction to Shakespeare.
This is my first Shakespeare play and within the next two months I plan on reading Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth, King Lear and Hamlet and I'm excited to see what his tragedies hold.
I liked the story of a Midsummer Night's Dream and Puck was just an amazing character. I also really appreciated that he addressed the audience directly (breaking the fourth wall in the 16th century... chapeau!). And I also appreciated that Shakespeare basically made fun of himself a little bit...
But as I said in the beginning it wasn't mind-blowing... Damsels in distress and mix-ups are nothing new and Oberon was a little bitch. :D
Totally random but I looove the name LYSANDER!
