Orwell insisted until his death in 1950 that his novel was a warning against corruption nd dictatorship regardless of what the political system does.
Orwell said : "My recent novel is NOT intended as an attack to the socialism, I do not believe that this kind of society I'm describing necessarily will arrive but I believe that something resembling could arrive."
The scene of the book is laid in Britain .. nd I'm wondering why did Orwell chose Britain particularly as his example to talk abt it??
(need an answer pls)
