I only gave this book 4 stars because by the end (which only took 2 days) it just left me so sad and disappointed. I had to keep reminding myself as I read this, these are REAL people I'm reading about. People who actually did drown kittens and not share chocolate with their starving children and stole money from more sources than you can count. These aren't just characters you find yourself hating but reality.
The writing is brilliant, and it's a good fast read.. But expect it to upset you.
