Loved this book; one of those books that I can say I was sorry I hadn't read it sooner - I read this book at a local book store with a group of Melville enthusiast- came out convinced it was one of the greatest pieces of literature i have ever read --- I thought this a book just for guys -- turns out it was a lot different that what i thought it would be, and it had a lot more than what i thought it would have ever contained I have never actually had a favorite book before - I have been reading most of my life I can say that Moby Dick is my new Favorite - quotes that reached my soul during my readings .
