it was amazing

I can see why so many people dislike it. But I like it a lot. This book has the magic to keep me reading and reading and reading. It is a long book and took me one month to finish it. The magic realism is impressive. The author has great control of the words. I see Latin America in here (but I didn't realize that Macando was set in Latin America until 1/3 of the book). The feeling of solitude reached its climax at the end of the book. None of them escaped their fate.
