a few years ago ryan gosling made a movie called the united states of leland, and i when i saw the trailer, i thought, hey, this is vernon god little as a movie! so of course i immediately imdb'd that shit expecting the see the author's name credited somewhere for writing the novel (if you use imdb you know what im talking about). however, it was not there, and united states of leland is still out there on netflix passing itself off as an original script when it's basically this book.
