An American Childhood

I dont love this as much as "pilgrim at tinker creek," another of her books, although the style is very similar. She has a very detail specific, half scientific half spiritual way of seeing (and describing) the world which is moving and engaging. This book is an auto-biography and i found it to be a little self-involved although it does offer some profound insights to growing up.
