An incredible end to a fantastic masterpiece! Elena Ferrante will be remembered for a long time to come for this Tour De Force!! Such painstakingly lucid writing! There is something about books in which the author traces the journey of characters from childhood to old age. You start to reflect on how you have lived your own life and how you want the future to be. Life is so fragile and human beings have to endure so much pain and suffering. The complexities of relationships between human beings, the horrendous consequences of the mistakes that they make, the inability of people to take complete responsibility for their actions and their lives and hence destroying the lives of everyone around them especially, the children, the sheet brutality of the world of Naples and Italy!! Life is completely unfair and people go through such unspeakable misery yet their resilience in the face of the tragedies is simply awe-inspiring!! Went through the whole range of emotions with the characters created by Elena Ferrante! A must read for everyone!!! What a journey it has been!!! I will surely be going through the quartet again just to experience the breathtaking writing!! Simply Phenomenal!
