I was disappointed that I didn't enjoy this as much as I was expecting. This story was incredibly slow-moving which makes it impossible for me to stay interested. From reading the description of the book, I was expecting more of the story to be about this "competition" between Celia and Marco. There was more description put into the setting and surroundings than to the competition. I didn't find it to be anywhere near a "fierce competition." I also expected to hear more about their training but I found myself disappointed. The training was vague and I really couldn't grasp the idea of what they were being taught as most of the training was unstated.
The timeline was also a problem for me. It was stretched over such a long period of time that it seems ridiculous for a competition to be taking place. I was unattached to a majority of the story because I felt that I was reading about so many things unnecessary.. Instead I just wanted to read about Celia and Marco along with their competition. I found it weird that the readers (as long as the characters) were left in the dark as to the details of the competition. You didn't know much about the rules or how the winners were chosen.
I wish I had the same experience that other readers had, but I just simply did not.

"I'm finding it hard to stay interested in this book again. I keep waiting for more action with Celia and Marco but it's going at a slow pace. I want to know more about their competition and less about some of the unimportant details."
