Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (The Wicked Years, #1)

This was only an "OK" read for me.
I think my problem with Maguire (having attempted to read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister as well) is that I just have a hard time wrapping my head around his use of language.... It's not terribly complicated, but for some reason I have a really hard time reading him. In both cases (Wicked and Stepsister) I thought the premise was SO fantastic, but just managed to fall short. In both cases I really WANTED to like it, but just really didn't.
