I am sorry but sketchy is not the correct word for Michelle Moran's research. She takes years to research what she writes then tells a story using her research, smudging some lines for story telling purposes. She makes notes at the end of all her books to detail what is incorrect. If you did not like it it may be because you felt you were reading historical fact. Alas it is fiction.
