Tower of Thorns (Blackthorn & Grim, #2)

Still a good book but but missing the wonder of the first book. Blackthorn isn't really surprising anymore; we know her tendencies. Grim gets a bit of backstory and it is actually pretty meh. And when it is all done I am not sure Blackthorn actually solved anything as opposed to just being drug along.
That said, it was a page turner and still a more hopeful book than many I read so a good change of pace. Consider this series a must read for me still.
