"i did like the first book and was very excited to start glass sword but somethig i noticed was how often Mare relates a statement/description/... back to herself, which bothers me quite a lot and i dont remember form the first book whatsoever. example: My brother furrowed his brow, feeling not his pain but his strength. *I understand that well enough*. If this occured only every once in a while it might be bearable"

"but literally every new paragraph begins like that. What i also dislike fairly strongly about the first chapter was the fact how self-centered Mare was by reminding the reader all the time that she was the most precious part of their group and she must be saved above all others, bla bla bla: *I am valuable, I am powerfull[...]*. The drama V.A. tries to imply is also a bit too forced and excessive."
