Bad Dreams (Fear Street, #22)

As I am returning to reading fear street books which I love I have to say this has been the worst so far tied perhaps with one evil summer. How can this be the same author of truth or dare? Or all night party? Silent night? Those are classics. Ok I'll confess in not a big fan of the unnecessary supernatural cop out plots. There are always so many gaps and seem hastily written. Thinking back on one evil summer it was like ohh well your friend backed up your story of seeing a devil girl floating so you are now allowed out of the mental institution when this same mental institution plot line was dealt with quite realistically eg concerned parents take her to logical psychiatrist. In this book rather than just have someone living in the attic which could have been an excellent story they include a nonsensical storyline of the bed and the last killer implanting overwrought nightmares into her mind. Ok do a few straight up ghost stories that are clever (even though I love his cozy whodunnits the best) but stick with real life mirders which separates the good from the rest. I feel it all sounded harsh because I love stein don't get me wrong.
