Of course 5 stars.
I've read this before, but this time 'round was reading it to my son 1 or half a chapter at bedtime each night, if he'd been good. First, let me say, I should have waited. I thought I could get away with reading this one (and waiting a LONG time before starting #4) with my almost-6-year-old, but it was a mistake. Don't get me wrong, he loved it. But he was afraid of (to the point of a few nightmares) the Dementors and the Grim. He was very worried about Buckbeak, very worried about Harry, and (probably the worst) really did not quite grasp the fun(great)ness of the big finale.
Again, he loved it (and of course I loved it), but it would have been SO much better if I had waited a year or so between Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban.
