This is the first book I've ever returned to Audible for just being terrible. I tried so hard to like it because a friend loved and recommended it, but I couldn't even finish it.

The protagonist was TSTL. She literally "accidentally" bit her lip until it bled the first time she went out to eat with a vampire. It got worse from there.

The "hero" was an abusive asshole who can do yoga standing on one ear. (I'm not making that up. It's in the book.)

The plot is nonsensical and slow-moving.

Read the 1-star reviews. They are accurate and amusing.
