Now leaving the land of instant gratification...
This is my first time reading this author's work and I have to blame Steph (_bookbabe_) because she's currently reading it and I decided to tag along.
I inhaled this book. I scarfed it up and even when I got to the last page, I was hungry for more. What can I tell you about this book?
It isn't for those who want everything now. No, no. This is for the readers who don't mind being taken on a stroll with lovely little puzzles pieces casually dropped along the trail. Each puzzle piece has you begging for more but you continue on, reading and dying a little inside with every interaction between sassy Vanessa and her silent but sexy love interest, Aiden.
Zapata, I'm convinced, is the queen of delayed gratification. I fell so in love with the characters and this story and I'll be sure to read the rest of her books.
If you do anything today, tomorrow, this week, this month, this LIFE, add this to your TBR. And don't just add it and leave it there to collect dust. Bump this baby up. It is so deserving of your attention and time.
