really liked it

All of my life, I have heard my dad and relatives use the term 'Scotch Irish' and was never sure exactly what that entailed. Now, I know. This survey would be an interesting read for anyone of Scotch Irish decent. It details the polictical and economic conditions that drove peasant farmers from Scotland to Ulster (Northern Ireland) and, for many, ultimately to the 'Colonys.' As the Scotch Irish distinguished themselves as Patriots during the American Revolution... the thousands of Scotch Irish who helped settle Pennsylvania, Virginia and the Carolinas... became Americans! If you are a Freedom Loving Protestant of Irish Decent, you will enjoy it, too.
