The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

I found this book fascinating. As an autistic person myself, I thought the style rang incredibly true. Though I am not as impaired as Christopher, his way of thinking and the cadence of his thoughts was incredibly familiar to me. And that familiarity was soothing and made the story very enjoyable. I wonder if a neurotypical person would struggle to get through this book because the style would be so unusual to them-- I don't know the answer to that. I put off reading this for a while beside I was afraid it would be full of stereotypes and end up being offensive, but I thought it was a great read. The story itself is quite simple, where this story is special is in the style and the way it captures the autistic mind. If you aren't interested in that, that's a shame and read something else.
