Who would put a golden retriever on the witness stand----no one but Paterson, NJ attorney Andy Carpenter, the guy wealthy enough to only take cases he believes in. If you want to read a well-plotted mystery underscored with humor and engaging characters (including Andy's own canine companion Tara) try Play Dead. You won't be disappointed!
