I finished reading this book for the second time and I'm just floored at how differently it affected me in just a few short years since the first time I read it. Of course, my life is pretty different now, but the book spoke to me on a different level this time around. I might have to make a tradition of re-reading it every so often so that I can take new things out of it. I want to write a thoughtful, detailed review, but I can't now. My feelings need to congeal a little more. For now, suffice it to say that this book is a must-read. Atwood is a genius, her prose is both luxurious and compelling, and the world she creates is disconcertingly real.
