I know that this is an important book of Kundera and there is even a movie about it, but I really didn't like it. I felt nothing about this story. For me it was the description of a part of the life os some characters. Too much politics, too much real history, and so very comon. There was nothing that really interested me about this book. I even hated the ending because there is no clear closure of the story.
