Ok, if I'm being honest, I liked ACOMAF way better. I literally wanted to reread ACOMAF the second I finished it, but this one? Nah. Maybe I just had my expectations too high?
Maybe it's a 'it's not the book, it's me' type situation?
Everything that happened was just so convenient. I still love the characters so, so much, but the plot and the twists left something to be desired. I saw the twists coming, and the few I didnt see coming, didnt make a lot of sense, seemed thrown in there for shock value maybe?
This is still an amazing book, I loved it, I tore though it, and this is my favorite trilogy of all time. I might raise my rating, maybe I'm being to critical since the writing really is impeccable. I think I just need think on it for a few days.
