it was amazing
bookshelves: fantasy

This was the second time through American Gods for me, and I enjoyed it much more this time around. It had been so long since I read it that, while I remembered the general flow of the story, I'd forgotten all of the details. It certainly is a bit on the meandering side, which did not bother me this time as it had the first time I had read it. I also felt like I got more out of it, now that I was bringing more to the story myself. But you do have to have patience with the book at times. If you do, it's a tremendous read.

Neil Gaiman
“Hey," said Shadow. "Huginn or Muninn, or whoever you are."
The bird turned, head tipped, suspiciously, on one side, and it stared at him with bright eyes.
"Say 'Nevermore,'" said Shadow.
"Fuck you," said the raven.”

Ronyell Great review Sesana! I agree that this book was very long to get through, but still enjoyable!
