I have heard so much hoopla about this book over the years that I finally decided I had to read it. It certainly didn't knock my socks off, but it was okay. I thought Gary Paulsen's writing style was very odd in the way he used so much repetition, so many run-on sentences and sentence fragments, and weird stream of thought sentences. I know this is the start of a series, so I'm wondering where else Brian'a story could even take us.
