There isn't much here that one could take issue with. Epictetus' pithy take on morals and ethics is not that far removed from that of the New Testament.

Tg The only thing is this was written for the Roman Soldier in the field primarily.... I like the Bible's parallel...."Put on the full armor of God...Take with you the Breastplate of Righteousness, the belt of Truth, the Shield of Faith, The Helmet of Salvation...and boots to quickly spread the Gospel of Truth
