I don't have time to say what I want to say about this series, but I LOVE it. The author doesn't tell the story from the point of view of a single protagisit, rather, each chapter is from the point of view of a different character. In the beginning this can be frustrating, but once you know the character and their relationships, I think it provides a much more complex and complete picture than the traditional format. Martin manages to capture the grit and dirt just as well as the magic and mystery (which I think is rare for fantasy novels). Incredible series!! READ IT!! (p.s. definitely for adults...)
