J'adore. The comeuppance of some horrible characters is truly sweet. Chocolate pie sweet.
Sorry, basing this on the movie. Which I usually don't do as the order needs to be read book then see movie. But my life isn't my usual life anymore, so things change. Awesome movie. So real, at times you want to reach out and just put a hand on Aibileen's shoulder to give her strength.
The ending sort of anti-climatic especially if you're a jaded writer. Kind of like, yah, sure...but will the publishers publish you? However, most everyone else who isn't a jaded writer shouldn't have any trouble with the ending.
