The first star suggests that you've read at least one book which is more boring, in the past. Anyway this book is kinda misleading in the sense of traditional novel structure. Narrator always twists the incidents and constantly lies to the reader. Yes the book is way too long but when you keep that unstable narrator in mind the book seems interesting.
