T2 Trainspotting (Movie Tie-in Editions)

A tad disingenuous to call this book T2 Trainspotting and to use movie art on the cover when it has very little/next to nothing to do with the film but this was the edition I read and I knew that it was the novel Porno when I bought it but it is a blatant lie ... However, it's still a good read. For me it's not as good as Skagboys and Trainspotting but it has a similar energy and I like reading about these characters. This one is a little Sick Boy heavy for me though, and not enough of the other three [Begbie, Spud, Renton], and Sick Boy is a nasty piece of work, especially in this novel. It is a good companion piece to the other two novels though, and well worth a read. If you are expecting a book of the movie though you don't get that. There are maybe five sentences of material that are used as source material for the film ...
