Is it possible for me to like this even more than The Sun is Also a Star? It doesn't seem possible, and yet, it is.
I loved this book. I have to disagree with some of the other reviews. I read a lot and the only reason I knew the twist ending was because I accidentally read it in a review. I wouldn't have had a clue until the Hawaii part. I also don't think the relationship is "instalove-y", as some pointed out. The relationship builds over a series of months and while, yes, Olly is Madeline's first friend due to her unique upbringing, it didn't seem rushed or forced to me at all. The story was cute. The writing is excellent and engaging. And the twist DOES happen and I think it still something important to be aware of.
Excellent, Excellent.
