ILIUM was amazing. Olympus is a turd. I am half way thru and am already ready to put it down. Or maybe skim Hockenberry's arc. Too many POV characters. Too many new characters introduced that I don't give a darn about. Ada's POV continues to irritate me. None of the unexplained elements from ILIUM are explained by page 500, and looking at the reviews others have left, none of them will be by page 1000 either... and there's mountain of new inexplicable things happening. The war with the gods? That was so interesting at the end of ILIUM ? Forget about that. It's a stalemate and the author lost interest in resolving it.
