it was amazing
Read 2 times. Last read February 3, 2021 to February 4, 2021.

** spoiler alert ** Too much dialogue, not enough emotions/feelings/descriptions. Felt less meaningful than it could had, seemed kind of cliche, but a good fast-read feel-good book.

^NONONONOOONONOONO. WRONG. this was my review of the book like three years ago. reading this book now feels so different. i literally cried like five times. this book was so beautiful and emotional and i felt it so much. i loved all the characters-- the parents, especially. i love the raw, beautiful, real pain the ari felt towards everyone throughout the book, including himself. this lost, hateful, confused feeling is something i totally feel and the author did so well with expressing this throughout the book. i really enjoyed following ari's journey with growing up, going through his emotions, seeing everything that happened with the accident, the letters with dante, dante coming back, ari being confused with himself, ari wondering about his brother, etc. i truly love hearing ari's thoughts and seeing dante and him's dialogue and them falling in love. their parents are the wisest of them all i think it was amazing and i loved it so much. love love love. i felt this book sooo much more this time than the first time i read it. i stayed up til 3 am to finish this book (again). i didn't remember any of the book from the first time that i read it.
