really liked it

(3.75?)
I thought this book would be similar to the movie but... no, not at all (or barely!).
There are 9 short stories told and, although I enjoy all of them, I much preferred the last couple ones.

William I've been meaning to read this one. Hope you like it!

Andrea I recently read this too and liked it way more than I expected! Good classic scifi.

Sydney Baker Asimov has other books in his robot series that are about the detective from the movie. The books are all really good. Highly recommend them.

Ameya Joshi i think the movie's plot is based on another I,Robot book by another author, which also was Assimov's inspiration for this book, plus some parts inspired by this

James The movie was based loosely on this book. I was surprised how different it was, too. Great story telling, but the dialogue, situations are certainly keyed to the 50s. Still enjoyable.

Joe The film is more like the Caves of Steel by Asimov.
