it was amazing
bookshelves: 2011, random-fiction

This book has some of the most spectacular writing I've had the honor to read in quite some time. I'm fairly certain it will be depressing in the end, but all the one liners have me laughing out loud repeatedly.

Some examples: "Rudy was one of those audacious little bastards who actually fancied himself with the ladies."
"The only thing worse than a boy who hates you, a boy who loves you."
"You're obviously an idiot, but you're our kind of idiot."
"The old man began to swear with a ferocity that could only be described as a talent."

You see? The writing is marvelous!
