EDIT: Honestly this book was a fucking mess and I would rate it zero stars if I could. If I continue to read SJM's trashy books, I'll only read them to trash the ever living shit out of them. I think it's sadly obvious she's only going to write ridiculously long books which don't need to be even half the length.

Honestly, I was disappointed in this tremendously.
The book was filled with unneeded, absolutely disgusting sex scenes, along with every main character needing to be shipped with some other heterosexual character, of course. Some weird ways of trying to include diversity, but fell pretty flat.

I was disappointed by Tamlin also. I feel like he was demonized too much in this. I get why he would be mad and everything that happened, but I find it hard to believe he said some of the things that he did. I was also disappointed by the closure between Tamlin and Feyre.

The moment on page 666 when (view spoiler)[Rhys dies (hide spoiler)] did not shock me or make me sad at all considering I knew it was all just a plot device to get the reader to be emotional. And I'm usually a brick wall of no emotion sooooo that was a failure lol.

I'm generally satisfied with this conclusion, but couldn't help but be massively disappointed after the amazingness that was ACOMAF. I should have figured it wouldn't be as good, but I didn't expect there to be so much dialogue in this and not enough plotting. It didn't need to be 700 pages.
