Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind

First third of the book, the evolutionary history of humankind was very well done. One of the best presentations I've read. The second third, as we strayed into historic times was cute "Are Empires Evil" with some interesting insights "Yes and No". The last third was quite weak. The author is a bright guy, well read in a general sense and riffing on what he has read about Science in the New York Times Sunday Supplement. Annoying.
He is a good writer. This book is not recommended. But I'll certainly look at his next one to see if he stays within the bounds of his expertise.
