Barbm1020 This book was so unlike anything I'd ever read (in 2003) that it really drew me in and kept me busy all winter. It's a very dramatic story, and bit of a crash course in European mythologies. Not being familiar with a lot of the gods involved, I spent some time looking up the characters and trying to figure out how Neil Gaiman put them all together the way he did. A great read!
